My Year in Review
"Heritage" 6 x 6 SOLD |
This is my favorite painting that I did in 2012. It was one of those days when everything fell into place for me. This was the cover of the 2012 calendar that I created on Vistaprint to give as gifts. I also created a hardback book for myself of all of the art I created during the year. I also did one for 2010. It is a nice thing to have so I can look back at what I accomplished and see how my art has changed. I created it at Picaboo. All in all, 2011 was an AWESOME year for me both with my art and my life. I am thankful for so many blessings.
A loving and supportive husband
Two new grand babies (that makes 7!)
Fantastic workshops with Dreama Tolle Perry, Abbey Ryan, and Tracy Frugoli.
Several on-line workshops.
My blogging friends!!!! Your support has meant so much to me!
Being unemployed!
Who would ever think that being unemployed would be a blessing? But it has been because it has allowed me to pursue my passion for art.
I am so looking forward to 2012 and what that year will bring. I hope to continue to improve my art to a level where I will no longer have to call myself unemployed.
I got a new camera for Christmas and I can't wait to use it.
I also hope to get outside more to paint in 2012.
What are your dreams for the new year???
Happy New Year to All!!
Karla
Please note: I have returned to a more traditional format for my blog. Although I enjoyed the increase in page views with the "Dynamic View", I missed the interactions with everyone. (thank you to those who persevered to post a comment in the difficult dynamic view)!
This painting is sold, but you can see more of my available paintings HERE. Or, to see other paintings available at auction simply search Karla Uphoff in Art on Ebay
