Had to paint in the afternoon today which is not my best time.  But I managed to get through by focusing hard and then taking several breaks.  Good news is; I'm not afraid to paint roses anymore!  A special thank you to Bronwyn Chelius for the terrific reference photo!

    You weren't wrong when you said you can paint anything!! This is beautiful,this close up is probably one of the hardest things to paint!

    Hi Carla, I have tried many roses all colours,but, yours looking is looking pretty good.
    looking at your sight too which is really smart I really like it. You mentioned about Artist blog land.
    have you been with them for long? It looks interesting, it's is handy to get to know others with the same interest.wondering now you are finding it?

    Hi Carla really like your rose, you obviously have a lot of patience! tried a couple myself
    and certainly they need a lot of work!
