I have signed up for a one-day seminar with Abbey Ryan in June.  If I had to pick one artist that I want to paint like it would be Abbey.  Her art just wows me.  I have no idea how I will get to her workshop.  It is over 800 miles away from me, but I will get that figured out.  In the meantime I will study her work on-line and see what I can learn.  I was pretty happy with how this apple turned out.

How far have you traveled to participate in a class or workshop??

    I think this apple is gorgeous, Karla! I've not traveled anywhere nor do I even know how to find such things. There is an art group here in Morris but they meet during the business day and I have to work. I'm rather at a loss because I'd love to meet other artists. I have a long way to go and I could learn so much from them.

    Well thanks! I usually find workshops on the artists' blogs that I follow. I am taking an on-line workshop in March. I will write a post about that one.
