While grandson #1 was at kindergarten, grandson #2 was at pre-school, and grandson #3 was taking a morning nap, I slipped into the studio and painted this chubby pear. I think pears are my favorite fruit to paint.
On another personal note: My hubby and I celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary yesterday. It is hard to believe we have been married that long. Time sure does fly! We have definitely had our ups and downs, but I am so glad we stuck it out during the rough times. But by God's grace we are still together and happier than ever that we are.

Happy anniversary! And I love the chubby pear! The shadow, especially, is exquisitely done! I also love the reddish glow on the edge of the pear!
