This is my submission to the new challenge at Paint and Draw Together.  I avoided this for a long time because I couldn't figure out how I could possibly paint a believable doily.  But I think I did ok.  I first painted the blue background with acrylic so I wouldn't have to wait a week for oil to dry.  ( I am not a patient person!).  Lela provides excellent quality photos for her challenges.  Give one a try!
