This is another attempt at the new challenge at Daily Paintworks. This contest was posted by Qiang Huang. I had never tried painting a rose before, (well, at least in the last 20 years) so this was a fun challenge. To tell you the truth flowers have always scared me. Not sure I will ever "conquer" them, but that is all part of the journey I guess.

I've always liked painting flowers, not that I do it often. Still, they are quite forgiving as each one is unique. This is lovely!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I obviously have a long way to go. Not sure why they intimidate me so much. Will have to find a class sometime to overcome it I guess.
