I never knew cherries could have such distinct personalities. These have been fun to paint.
Stage VI of the grieving process is Reconstruction and Working Through. We are definitely on the downhill side of grief when we get to this stage. During this stage we start to figure out how we are going to move forward without our loved one. Losing a family member means that there is a hole in our life and relationships that has to be worked out. In my case, Gabe was our oldest living child. So we had to readjust our family to make Joshua our oldest. A position he was not used to being in. It will take time to make the adjustments to life without him or her.
Karla, your writing speaks of my greatest fear. You are an amazingly strong lady. I love the biblical names of your boys too. These cherries look scrumptious!!
ReplyDeleteI don't think there is anything harder especially for a woman than losing a child. But we can get through it. There is hope for life afterward that is meaningful and fulfilling. Thanks for your comment.
