Having more fun with the challenge of painting fabric. These country tea towels are right up my alley.
Please join me in this week's Daily Paintworks challenge. I have had the honor of having my idea of painting fabric chosen as this week's challenge. Woo hoo! These challenges are a lot of fun and give you ideas of things to paint when your well is running dry. They also stretch you to try things you never thought you could do. You can go back ( there are lots and lots of them!) and participate in any of the older ones as well. And painting in the challenges is a great way to get your art out there where lots of eyes can see it. You don't even have to be a member of DPW to participate. But, I do have to recommend DPW if you are looking for an on-line gallery. David Marine has done a great job of creating an artist and buyer friendly website. Check them out.
I have also decided to participate in Leslie Saeta's 30 paintings in 30 days challenge. Head on over to her blog to see all of the artists who are participating. I may spend the whole month practicing painting fabric. But who knows? Hope I can keep up!
