Cup with Saucer and Spoon

"Cup with Saucer and Spoon"
6 X 6
Oil on Hardboard

I had fun garage-saling again this weekend.  This cup and saucer caught my eye.  I just loved the shape of it.  Unfortunately, it came as part of a set.

But the good news was, everything seen here was priced at $4.00.  Can you believe it???  An espresso machine and everything.  Of course that milk pitcher is calling my name too.  I used some new paper that I bought from Michael's for the background. Pink in back and orange under the cup.  It was a whole pack of paper mismatched pieces.  I got it for 1/2 off using one of their coupons.  The paper made some interesting reflections.

Here is how it might look framed

  3. Hi Karla,

Thanks for visiting my blog, and I am happy to find yours as well. I LOVE finding bargains at garage sales!! We just moved to (the middle of nowhere) in NM, so they are rather hard to find up here. Looks like you found some fun bargains, and a great painting as a result!
