Bronze

Bronze
8 X 10
Oil on Hardboard
I'm trying to get the last bit of use of my last fruit purchase.  It was difficult to make myself paint yesterday.  I have succumbed to "the cold of the century" that seems to be going around.  Feeling somewhat better today.

I'm not sure what you call the architectural item in this painting.  I found it at a garage sale.  Does anyone know what it is called?  Anyway, I just really liked it's shape.

Here is how it might look framed

  1. Sorry Karla,I have no idea what it is,but you've painted the contours and highlights beautifully. The fruit is luminous and the composition is well thought out.Well done for painting even with a bad cold, its not easy.
