What a difference the perspective makes in a still-life. I notice that Carol Marine goes against the conventional wisdom by providing an over-head perspective. I guess I have to agree with Carol. Looking down on the composition just gives it a whole different feel. More contemporary? I am going to work on my lighting for photographing today! I was supposed to do lunch with a friend but they are calling for 3-5 inches of snow ( our first of the winter really) with high winds. Sounds like a good day to work in the studio.

Great textures and the colour combination is gorgeous!! looking down does give your composition a more modern feel.I hope the snow is'nt too bad and it does'nt settle!!Although it does make for some pretty landscapes.
