This is the painting I did for The Virtual Paintout.  February's location was Romania.  It was one of the best locations so far in my opinion.  Lots and lots of great options for paintings.  Others must have thought so too as there were a lot of submissions last month.  I had worked on another painting of some geese for several days but it never came together.  I have determined that white geese are hard to paint without them looking like a child's cartoon.   I like this little study and it would be worth doing again to refine it.
