Some Friendly Suggestions Today

Ocean Reflection
Don Hatfield

Today I just have some suggestions and references.  First of all I wanted to point you to a neat blog called " 366 Random Acts of Kindness.  It is a blog by Ryan.  He has decided to do at least one act of kindness every day of the year (366 this year because of leap year).  What a great inspiration for all of us!  Join his blog to follow along and be inspired.

So if you are inspired, here is one act of kindness you can do for a fellow artist with just a quick click of a button.  Don Hatfield is an artist who lives in California.  In January he lost his wife to cancer.  In February he lost his daughter Rachel to a brutal murder.  Rachel's husband is the suspect in the murder.  Rachel leaves behind three children ages 4, 2, and 9 months.  Don is going to try and gain custody of the children and raise them.  He needs financial support to get a nanny set up to help him so he can paint to support them all.  The painting above is one of Don's paintings.  Amazing Right???

I have never met Don, but like so many of you I call him a friend through our connections in blog-land.  Don was one of the first people to write to me in support when I started this blog while over-coming my own son's death.  Now it is my turn to try and support him.  Go HERE and follow the simple directions for donating to help Don.  Every little bit counts.

Okay, now one more thing.  I have a new phone that allows me to surf the web and read all of your blog updates anywhere I go.  But, here is the problem.  Some of the posts written are not easily read by a mobile devise.  And I don't want to miss a thing you say!!!  In reviewing my own STATS for this blog I noticed that about 50% of people are reading my posts on a mobile devise.  So if you are using blogger, here is a how you can make your blog mobile friendly.

Go to Design
 Click Settings
Click Email and Mobile
Click "Yes"  Show Mobile Template
Save

That's it!

Have a great weekend!
