This painting was sooo much fun to do.  It was a great exercise in drawing and working with shapes.  And you know I love color!!  This goes along with my other kids toys paintings here, here and here.

So here's the skinny.  I saw this photograph over at Things that make me happy.....like a pretty petunia.  Julie takes some really awsome photographs.  So I decided to ask her if I could paint it and she graciously said "yes".  Yippee.  So for those of you who see a picture that you would love to paint, why not ask the owner if you can?  What is the worst that can happen?  They don't answer or say no.  This is the third time I have asked someone if I could paint their photo and all three have said yes.
