Practice Makes Progress?
OK, now no laughing...
Well OK, you can laugh, because I am.
I started this current journey I am on back in January of 2010. My main goal was only to improve my ability to make art. I keep this self-portrait in my studio as a daily reminder of where I started in this adventure.
I am carrying on.
More progress needed.
Thanks for veiwing!

ReplyDeleteI can see the talent in the first one so the second one does not surprise. For most of us the ability to develop volume is a matter of time and awareness. It must be very satisfying for you to see your wonderful progress.
ReplyDeleteRemarkable! It has to feel really good to you to see how accomplished you've become! I 'discovered' you only recently but this post prompted me to go back to the beginning of your blog. I am so deeply sorry for the loss you endured but am very happy to see how you've moved forward in your life.:) Bless you Karla! Oh, and a workshop with Abbey Ryan! What a treat!
ReplyDeleteKarla, for me you are a true inspiration, you're talented and hard working and so upbeat and inspirational. You give of your self with a generosity of spirit that is rare.I too would like to say "Bless you Karla."
