The Apple of My Eye
This is a little apple that I picked Sunday while over at my husband’s folks for Sunday dinner. Sunday dinners began while we were dating in high school after the death of my husband’s grandparents. The torch was then passed to his Mom. In those days the family was not that big. We could all gather around one table for dinner. Now, it takes three tables to fit us all in with kids, grand-kids and great-grand-kids. On average there are about 25 for dinner now - double that at the Holidays. Those Sunday dinners and the fellowship afterwards have meant a lot to our family over the years and has helped cement us together during some really tough times. I am very thankful to my in-laws for their devotion to family.

On another note. I sold a commission painting this weekend. The painting was based on a drawing the buyer's husband had done while they were dating. She was very happy with how it came out. After 18 months of hard work and dedication, I feel like the wheels of my art business are slowly starting to turn. It is a great feeling!
Not just a beautiful painting but alot of meaning and love behind it!
