We wait all year for this moment in time...........when the tomatoes are ripe!  There is such a short window of time here in Central Illinois when the tomatoes are ready.  Once September gets here and the cooler nights, they begin to lose their deep rich flavor.

This is only my second attempt at a palette knife painting.  Again, I loved the experience immensely.  Will have to do more.
