This one almost went in the trash yesterday, but I decided to give it one more try this morning.  And presto!  It came together.  I am having fun working with analogous colors.  They seem to instantly give a "mature" look to my paintings. i.e., they don't look childish.  Looking forward to doing more.

Went garage sale-ing with my granddaughter this morning.  Found a whole box full of still life items.  Woo hoo!  I love to garage sale and I love to paint.  I'm in heaven.

Got a new toy this morning in the mail.  It is a view finder that transforms a regular picture into a 3-D picture so I will be playing around with that.  I'll fill you in if it works.
